Function and principle of busbar cutters

For cutting, the busbar is placed in the cutting head and positioned against a stop or clamping device. The hydraulic or electro-hydraulic drive moves the blade through the bar and completes the cut in a single stroke. This produces square, accurate cuts without excessive heat or sparks.
