Design and operating principle of electro-hydraulic punchers

An electro-hydraulic puncher consists of a C-frame with die and punch, a hydraulic cylinder, pump and electric motor. When the cycle is started, the system automatically builds pressure, drives the punch through the material into the die and then returns to the start position. The hole is produced in a single, controlled stroke.
