Operating principle of hydraulic strip steel cutters

The flat bar is placed in the opening of the cutting head. When the hydraulic pump is actuated, the ram moves down, the blade passes through the material and cuts the bar in a controlled stroke. After the cut, the ram returns to its initial position and the next bar can be inserted.
