Operating principle of angle steel cutters

The angle section is placed with its corner into the V-shaped cutting opening. When the hydraulic system is actuated – either by an external pump or an integrated electro-hydraulic drive – the ram moves down, the blades close and cut the angle in a controlled stroke. Afterwards the ram returns to its initial position and the next cut can be prepared.
