Key features of ultra-flat cylinders

Ultra-flat cylinders offer an extremely low profile and usually a short stroke. This allows them to be used directly under loads where there is virtually no clearance. Despite their compact design, they are rated for high forces and suitable for demanding lifting and straightening tasks.

All ultra-flat cylinders in this category are single-acting with load-return (also referred to as gravity return): the piston extends under hydraulic pressure, and the return stroke is achieved solely by the weight of the load or by the relaxation of the structure. They are often used together with cribbing material and additional cylinders to raise the load step by step and secure it safely at each stage.
