Hydraulic Puncher

Design and operating principle of hydraulic punchers

A hydraulic puncher consists of a C-shaped frame with die and punch plus a hydraulic cylinder with integrated or external pump. When the hand pump or external power unit is actuated, the punch is driven into the die and produces the hole in a single stroke. The slug is ejected through the die.

Tool variants

• Hand-hydraulic punchers – compact self-contained tools with built-in pump for mobile use.
• Punching heads for external pumps – high-capacity tools, ideal where a hydraulic power unit is already available or several tools share one pump.
• Stationary punching frames – for series production in the workshop or production line.
