Key characteristics of low-height cylinders

Low-height cylinders are characterised by their very small overall height and relatively short stroke. This allows them to be used in locations where standard cylinders cannot be installed – for example under load-bearing components, machine frames or beams.

Despite their compact dimensions, low-height cylinders can transmit high forces. Many versions are single-acting with spring return, automatically returning to their initial position after the load has been lowered.
